OUR COMPANY HISTORY
A path of research and development
Our story starts from the experience of Eng. Telemaco Tomassetti on the decomposition of resins and plastics. The search for quality in the recycling of valuable materials was the basis of his vision. The Irwin company was born in 1989.
Sample Laboratory
In 1989 a “sample industrial laboratory” was born in Pogliano Milanese to test the results achieved in the experimental phase-field. Immediately after the installation of the laboratory, we realize how our proposals are supportive and interesting for the paint stripping market.
Respect for the environment
Since the beginning of our journey, we took care to comply with the regulations governing environmental pollution (law 203/88), anticipating a sensitivity that was still rare at that time.
Research and Development
In the following years, the technical office invests in Research and Development of thermoregulation systems, evolving IRWIN fluidized bed ovens and technologies and patenting their applications for metal stripping.
1991
In 1991 the company moved from Pogliano Milanese to Pavia, taking advantage of a much larger space, able to support the evolution of services and customers. In fact, a pyrolytic oven and chemical paint strippers for aluminum and alloys, sensitive to high temperatures, were added to the fluidized bed thermal stripping service owned by the company.
2001
In 2001 a new branch was opened in Padova to meet the demands of the north-east market, a second production pole of 3,000 square meters of covered space.
Today
Today the company has a new structure: 2 production branches in Lombardy and Veneto, having an area of respectively 15,000 and 3,000 square meters, and an administrative office in Milan.
